my boyfriend is a leo guy, we are together for over a month. Could this be acid reflux?

Hi, I'm a 13 year old girl. A little over a year ago, I started to occasionally get this thing that sort of seems like acid reflux but sort of doesn't. I get it where it feels like there's a tiny bit of acid or vomit trying to come up my throat. Sometimes it happens out of the blue, but most of the time it is caused by when I burp, and then I can feel a tiny bit of acid coming up my throat. Usually, I have that feeling that I need to burp for a minute or two before the burp actually comes up. The acid has never made it to my mouth though (it has never made me throw up so far). You'd think it was acid reflux, but the weird part is, I have never gotten that 'burning' sensation in my throat when the acid comes up and it is almost never accompanied by any pain. If I get it, which luckily isn't too often, it is usually after I eat, but sometimes happens when I am really, really hungry. It can also happen if I drink a lot of water or other liquid. Usually, when I get this, the amount of acid I feel coming up is so incredibly tiny that I just ignore it. However, these past two days it has been pretty bad- to the point where I have to take a Tums to calm it down. Yesterday, it was caused by when I ate a yogurt like super fast (I must have downed it in under a minute!) and then went looking at garage sales with my mom and my sister. While we were looking, I burped and enough stuff came up that I thought I was actually going to throw up a tiny bit (luckily, I didn't, and I got home, had a Tums, and was fine). Today, I got it after eating a bean burrito fairly fast, and then having a hot chocolate. This time, I had a chest ache along with a little bit of the acid coming up my throat when I burp. Once I got home, I had to take a Tums. So I'm wondering- is this acid reflux if I get the acid coming up feeling but no burning what so ever? For the past Month Ive been eating all kinds of things(since I have no cullinary skills besides frying an egg) and I sometimes feel dizzy or at times my heart races fast.I am 21 year old slim guy who goes to the gym at least once a week I try to gain weight but its hard.Usually after I hit the gym I go to boston market get a plate of white chicken macroni and cheese with some collard greens(doctor says I have low iron) and potato.That is what i eat after I workout which is usually twice a week or once a week.Weekdays before I go to work I have egg and bacon sandwich ,then some pizza.In the evening I have some mexican food which is like a burrito or a quesadilla(I work at a mexican restaurant).Then I have another big meal right before bed like at 11:00 right after work which is like chinese food (chicken brocilli and white rice).Recently to save my budget Ive been eating alot of mcdonalds chicken sandwiches and pizza .Its cheap and fast. But I havent been feeling right .Do you think Im eating right?

Why is my LDL cholesterol so high?

For the past 4-5 years I have had high cholesterol (over 200, roughly 208) and my HDL was low (under 40) and my LDL was about 140 while my triglycerides consistently hovered over 200, sometimes 250 and even a remarkable 350. My diet used to be high carbohydrates (pasta, bread, sometimes high saturated fat. The last blood report which was a year from today, showed my triglycerides at 280 while my cholesterol was 213. Obviously drastic changes had to be made, I am only 23 years old. I'm 5'8, 23, male, mostly vegetarian, weigh about 150 lbs now. For the past 4 months I've been working out 3 days a week and playing basketball 6 days a week (or treadmill). My diet has also changed. A lot lower saturated fats, more fruits, more vegetables, a LOT less bread, pizza and pasta. If i eat chicken it's grilled. I don't eat cheese often nor do I eat butter or margarine. I've increased protein amounts for the day and decreased carbs and fat. I've also reduced the amount of food I have been eating and it shows, I lost about 5 pounds in these months (of fat) and put on some muscle. My HDL this time was good, 47. My LDL came out to 141 and my triglycerides were 101 (which is getting better but still not where I would like it to be). I've changed from white to whole grain (even though whole grain tastes like cardboard and don't let anyone tell you otherwise). The only cereal I eat is honey nut cheerios as of late and I've changed from taco bell to chipotle (burrito bowl without sour cream or cheese but with grilled chicken, once a week). Can anyone please explain if there is much more I can do? I've spent entirely way too much time on this and I cannot for the life of me get my LDL to go down. (Should I begin taking fish oil pills daily ) Thanks in advance.

That's a good diet, but your weight is normal for your height. Here's my diet- I eat cooked egg whites with bread and a little mayo. I can also add salt or pepper, or both, as much as my liking, just not too much! I eat like that for all meals, or just breakfast and dinner, until you lose enough weight as you want. This morning I drove out of the garage as usual checking to make sure there was even space between my car and both sides of the wall. But then I hear a squeaking sound which was pretty loud and my husband comes running down to see what happened as it sounded like I hit something.
