Is my Cereal box going to kill me? help!!!?

I didn't know such thing of Cereal until i was in the super market looking for the poultry section and accidentally went into the cereal section. I just bought cereal called Captain Crunch and I didn't open it up because It says "surprise inside" and i'm scared it may be something scary like a cat or burrito that may come out of the box and kill me. how can i ensure that this "prize" is not a murderer?
